Cardigan Cancer Care is a local charity that provides confidential support and financial assistance to individuals diagnosed with cancer within a 15 mile radius of Cardigan.

Founded in 1989, we are totally self funding and our aim is to help relieve the stress and anxiety this dreadful disease causes for both patients and their families at a time they need it most. 

We can supply individual financial assistance to make life easier, we can help with petrol costs and advise on transport to hospital appointments when there is no car available.

Because Cardigan is geographically at least 30 miles from the nearest hospital, a great deal of our resources goes into funding transport costs for patients to attend appointments and treatments, which can be a great burden both financially and practically.

All requests are dealt with almost immediately and all monies raised quickly go back into the community.



We rely entirely on donations from people and businesses to help fund our support and it never ceases to amaze us how kind and giving our own community is with their many fantastic and varied fundraising events. We also thank the visitors and holiday makers to Cardigan for their generosity.
